Something is growing in the bathroom

For the past few days that I’ve used the bathroom at work, I’ve been eyeballing this “thing” in the corner on the floor.  Little by little it’s been growing and poking itself out from the wood.  I’m both grossed out and extremely curious.  If I were braver, I’d get a stick and poke at it or try to pull it out, but I’m envisioning nightmarish creatures so until it either grows so big that someone else notices it and removes it or it starts moving I guess I’ll just pee as quick as possible and run out!  For now it’s dubbed ‘the thing in the bathroom’ and I shall loathe it.
