Poop, there it is

Ooooh why does no one ever tell you about all the diaper blowouts that you'll have to deal with when you have a baby!  I DO NOT let my baby stand or play in poop (usually) but the other day she was playing in her jumper and it just so happened that she pooped and I didn't notice.  I didn't notice that it slid down her leg and started puddling at her feet. I didn't notice that as she was laughing and playing, that she was also slipping and sliding in poop .  I did, however, notice an awful, sour smell.  I was taking a shower and our drains can smell pretty bad at times when the water is running so I figured it was stink drain smell but it kept getting stronger and stronger.  Never occurred to me that maybe my baby was standing in her own crap.  But yep, that's what happened.  It.Was.Disgusting..!

We've had many other diaper blowouts as well but only caught these few on camera.  This one was what happened one night when we used a cloth diaper for her to sleep in.  Woke up to a load of fun.

And this one happened when we were out shopping.  I didn't have a change of clothes with me so I had to wrap her up naked in a blanket and finish my shopping up as quickly as possible.  I love when poop goes all up her back and on her outfit, it's like a game trying to figure out the best way to get the shirt up over her head without smearing poop on her head and face.
